I received this book from Blogging for Books
*I actually read this in the Spring and just found the post in my draft folder*
This book is about Theodore Roosevelt as a hunter-naturalist (his term). I liked the sections on natural history. I didn’t like that Roosevelt mainly wanted large game protected so that he could hunt them. I am not against hunting for food, but he liked the big game and was not cooking them.
It doesn’t get into his time as President but is a fascinating look at natural history during his lifetime.
