I’m an introvert. When I was a kid I didn’t know, that was a thing. Shy, awkward, standoffish all that. I would have loved to have a book like this to explain that it’s just another personality type and not a defect. Overall great premise with lots of anecdotal stories.
What didn’t I like?
The text is dry, and I didn’t think that most kids would stick with it. Also, any kids that also have any of the alphabet disorders are not likely to take the suggestions in the book. I’m going to get the original adult text from the library and read that as a comparison.
Bottom Line: I just didn’t like it. Loved the idea and I’ll take what I learned and used it with my kids, but I’m not giving it to them to read themselves.
